A DEDICATION TO THE BEST WOMAN

As many of you know today is the day of the women. A day for them to hear the all important words of "I Love You." There is something so important to them and that is a deep confirmation of the love their man has for them. Now us men even though we deny it over and over again. We Love to be Loved as well. We just express it in a different way and want it a different way than the opposite sex. Yes I am married and have been for almost 8 months. Its the best decision I ever made in my life. So I wanted to take this blog entry and express the love to my ever beautiful and kind sweetheart. It took me a dang long time to let my pride leave and follow my gut and marry this awesome girl. Brianne was so patient with me all through our courting year and still to this day is a thousands time more patient than I will ever be. I love her so much. Yes it could get a little sappy from here on out but this isn't for you its for her. When I asked her to marry me I created an acronym for her telling her of the things I loved her. Well I want to renew that list and tell you Brianne that you were the best thing that ever happened to me. Thanks so much for saying yes that night after a slight delay which I deserved.

B- Beautiful. Beauty comes in all different forms and you have them all.
R- Respectful to me and everybody else. Always respecting and loving others.
I - Inspiring. You inspire me everyday to serve you more with you kind acts and become a better person. What more can I ask for.
A - Always forgiving, Christ is merciful and by golly you are too and have to be with a husband like me.
N - N comes after M so I want M because you are a future mother of Zion and I am ever grateful you will be the mother to my kids. Trust me I have watched how great you are with Sadee and Ava and you are just great. Love you again.
N - Nice. Yes the word is a little cheesy but the meaning I want to express is not. For a woman to watch BYU football, Jazz Basketball, Mariner baseball, BYU basketball and all other sports of my life makes you a true GEM, no GOLD is better and more expensive so you are GOLD in my life and thanks again.
E - Eternal. I get you forever and all eternity. I know I am young and have so much time to spend and learn and excitement meets my heart knowing I will pass the rest of eternity with you.

There you have it. I have more but you just put into words the feelings. I have a poem I read and loved so I want to close this blog with it.

If I knew this would be the last time I would watch you sleep,
I would hug you tighter. I would plead with the Lord to protect you.

If I knew this would be the last time I saw you walk out the door,
I would hug and kiss you and call you back to hug and kiss you one more time.

If I knew this would be the last time I would hear your voice in prayer,
I would record every gesture, every look, every smile, every one of your words,
So that I could listen to it later, day after day.

If I knew this would be the last time,
I would spend an extra minute or two to tell you, "I love you," instead of assuming you already knew it.

If I knew this would be our last time, our last moment,
I would be by your side, spending the day with you instead of thinking,
"Well, I'm sure other opportunities will come, so I can let this day go by."

Of course there will be a day to revise things,
And we would have a second chance to do things right.
Oh, of course there will be another day for us to say, "I love you."
And certainly there will be another chance to tell each other, "Can I help with anything?"
But in my case, there isn't one!
I don't have you here with me, and today is the last day we have—our farewell.
Therefore I would like to say how much I love you,
And I hope you never forget it.

Tomorrow is not promised to anyone, young or old.
Today might be your last chance to hold tight to the hand of the one you love and show all you feel.

If you are waiting for tomorrow, why not do it today?
Because if tomorrow never comes, you certainly will regret for the rest of your life

Not having spent some extra time for a smile, a conversation, a hug, a kiss,
Because you were too busy to give that person what ended up being their last wish.

Then hug tight today the one you love, your friends, your family, and whisper in their ears how much you love them and want them close to you.
Use your time to say,
"I'm sorry,"
"Please,"
"Forgive me,"
"Thank you,"
Or even,
"That was nothing,"
"It's all right,"

Because if tomorrow never comes, you will not have to regret today.
The past doesn't come back, and the future might not come.

I love you yesterday, today, and forever.
Jeff
